Just some face studies of the original X-Men. Trying to give each of them their own distinct personality.
Jean Grey (Marvel Girl), Hank McCoy (Beast), and Professor X. I tried to portray Hank and Jean as youthful and vibrant here. Jean is supposed to be 16 years old and Hank is 19. By contrast, I wanted Xavier to look old, sickly and slightly creepy.
I also did a lot of experimenting with color in Photoshop to try to give these a photographic quality. Like snapshots that were taken around the mansion.
The "photos" are intended to be taken today (in 2010); but depict the X-Men in those earliest days when everyone was happy and positive and only the Professor had any idea whatsoever of the dangers that were ahead of them.
Scott, Bobby and Warren are next obviously.
