Classic Beast

Just trying out something simple and kind of retro.  The goal here was to stay as iconic and true to the classic Jack Kirby Beast as possible without directly copying it and still making the drawing my own.  

I actually inked this using my normal methods this morning, but then found a really good tutorial online for making a comic book inking brush, so I decided to re-ink most of the drawing from scratch.  The logo was hand drawn using the same brush.  The yellowed paper texture was downloaded from the internet.  I just thought it would add to the "primitive charm" of the drawing.
